Cohort Sistas Launches 2021-2022 Sista Circle Mentorship Program

We are excited to announce that our 2021-2022 Sista Circle Mentorship Program is officially underway and this year we have 53 mentees and 15 mentors participating! This year’s Sista Circle participants come from all around the world — from Minneapolis, Minnesota to Muscat, Oman — and their academic disciplines include organizational leadership, biomedical informatics, english literature, counseling psychology, and many more. We had an overwhelming response from potential mentors this year, whose professional backgrounds range from an R&D researcher to an assistant provost. Now in our second program year, and third cohort, this year’s Sista Circle Mentorship Program reflects a 152% increase in the number of Black current and prospective doctoral students we have been able to serve through our flagship mentorship program from our spring intake.
