Dr. Ijeoma Kola Named Camelback Ventures Fellow

Ijeoma Kola, the Founder and Executive Director of Cohort Sistas, has been named a Camelback Ventures Fellow! This recognition highlights her exceptional leadership skills and entrepreneurial spirit. The Camelback Venture Fellowship is a program designed to support underrepresented founders and their ventures. As a fellow, Ijeoma Kola will receive resources, mentorship, and guidance to help herself and Cohort Sistas grow.

Camelback Ventures has increased access to opportunities for entrepreneurs of color and women by investing in their ventures and leadership while advocating for fairness in their funding. They aim to create a more diverse social innovation ecosystem that leverages the genius of all people.

Ijeoma Kola's selection as a Camelback Ventures Fellow speaks volumes about her leadership skills and her commitment to creating change. With the support of this fellowship, she will be able to take Cohort Sistas to the next level and continue positively impacting Black women and nonbinary people’s lives who are pursuing their research doctorate degrees.
